Borsalino, the legendary hat maker from Italy (for more than 150 years), is still a manufacture!
Each felt hat is handmade in the traditional way and to the highest standards of quality and design. Previously, Borsalino was known as the Rolls Royce of men's hat brands, but today the brand also offers a range of unisex styles.

In 1989 Marly Vroemen, the owner of the MV hat shops started as a Dutch agent for Borsalino.
At the factory in Alessandria, she was trained and got to know all the "ins and outs" of making fur felt hats according to Borsalino's quality criteria.
Since that period, the MV hat stores carry a wide range of Borsalino, from the Grand Classico's to the Tartufo, the famous fur felt golf cap and designs for ladies.

For the spring and summer season, Borsalino selects Panama and sisal straw capelines and cones in the country of origin like Ecuador for  Panama straws. Upon arrival at Borsalino, the unshaped raw material is blocked on the same mould-shapes as the felt hats.
